Biography
Livy Leung (b.1996, Hong Kong), graduated with a Degree of Bachelor of Visual Arts from the Academy of Visual Arts of the Hong Kong Baptist University. The mismatched elements of daily life have always intrigued the artist, leading her to construct worlds between reality and personal fantasy. Drawing from everyday incidents and images that occur around her, she recomposes mundane memories through amplified imagination. Leung’s practice acts as a form of vibrant self indulgence and expression. Her recent works have focused on ambiguous impressions of reality, applying flattened space, rough outlines, shapes, and vivid colours.
