Shangyu Cai (b.1999, China) is a visual artist standing amidst the rustling leaves and towering trunks. Shangyu engages in a silent dialogue with nature, discerning an invisible thread that weaves the myriad elements of the forest to her very senses. This profound interconnectedness finds its most tangible manifestation in trees.
