Biography

LAUN is a Los Angeles-based design company founded by Rachel Bullock (b. 1985, USA) and Molly Purnell (b. 1982, USA) that specialises in locally-made, contemporary outdoor furniture. With backgrounds in architecture, woodworking, and metal fabrication, LAUN's aesthetics are inspired by LA’s rich history of marrying adventurous design and skilled manufacturing. With a nod to the region’s wide ranging stylistic past, LAUN counts everything from Hollywood Regency to the Victorian mansions of Angeleno Heights as influences. Rachel and Molly live and work in Los Angeles, USA.
