Biography

Katy Papineau (b.1991, UK) is a figurative artist whose practice explores themes of love, theatricality, dressing up, and decoration in the home. Her paintings often depict everyday, intimate scenes, layered with references to art history, fairy tales, and literature. The paintings themselves are made up of layer upon layer of materials.
