Merrick d’Arcy-Irvine (b. 1984, France) is a British/French photographer whose work focuses on the human body and the tension between mortality and transcendence, movement and stillness. Working in a range of photographic media, from the collodion process to medium format film and digital, his practice embraces fluidity across both techniques and disciplines, visible in his collaborations with musicians and dancers from the English National Ballet and Royal Ballet. He graduated in 2006 from Cambridge University where he studied Art History. He lives and works in London, UK.
