About the Artist

Eva Yates (b. 1996, UK) is a neo-surrealist oil painter whose warping of imagery counters her demons. Yates, studied at Grand Central Atelier, New York, 2018-2020. She descends to a distorted world of nymphs and bright playful pallets to reveal the contrasting poles of her subconscious. Her work opens space for the imagination to grow. Eva uses her friends as her models seeking to immortalise them by illuminating how their individual beauty incarnates the iconic. Eva lives and works in London, UK.
