About the Artist
Kashin (b.1997, India) is a visual artist whose autobiographical work includes themes such as anxiety, isolation, self, social existence and vulnerability. Dismembered figures that represent the artist or others around her, weave a narrative of experiences often using humour to express seriousness. Kashin’s recent works painted on fabrics from ‘home’ explore ideas of family, longing and stability.
