Biography

Yishay Hogesta (b. 1990, Israel) is an Israeli artist whose practice is driven by a sense of immediacy, diminishing as many mediators between himself and the blank surface. Yishay explores through his compositions the use of colour, shape, and other aspects of the painted medium. His most recent body of works look to find ways to bring abstract values that leads to the expression of ones daily life onto the canvas. Yishay currently lives and works in Tel Aviv, Israel.
