Yage Guo (b.1998, China) is a contemporary visual artist who approaches her practice to painting as if she were capturing a sense of time, oriented by ideas of moments. Yage's works look to explore transitioned states from one another, perceiving faded memories as non-interactive. Yage often depicts sentimental scenes from memorable screenshots, trotting-horse-lamp-like scenes, the life of flowers, to films, amongst others. Her continuous practice explores the stillness and uncanniness of time. Yage lives and works in London, UK.
