In The Studio


María Camila Cepeda (b.1996, Colombia) is a visual artist whose practice currently works across a variety of media including painting, sculpture and animation. Her latest works explore our relationship with nature and territory, in which she sees a strong linked to identity. For it, María is inspired by Colombian flora and fauna to create scenes, worlds and characters, bordering between fictional and real, to reflect on her relationship to her home-country and elevating a non- human centered narrative. María lives and works in London, UK.
