Biography

Manon ​Steyaert (b.1996, France) is a French whose practice consists mainly of paintings and sculptures, where the paintings become sculptures and the sculptures become paintings. Combining brightly coloured layers to create light hearted work that attracts the eye of the viewer and causes curiosity in the act of looking. Investigating the themes of the partnership of these two mediums and how she can change their inner structure by creating her own materials to lay upon painting or how to take the painting out into sculptures. Manon lives and works in London, UK.
