Biography

C. Lucy R. Whitehead (b.1991, Liverpool, UK) is a British artist whose work explores the visual representation of the human form. In her paintings, the subject is in a constant flux of existence. Bodily mass is dissected with geometric structures which both supports and disrupts the flow of the natural form. An echo of the socially constructed framework of the feminine and masculine reinforced throughout art and history. Lucy lives and works in London, UK.
