Biography

Louise Dee is an English-born, Vancouver-based, emerging artist. She paints figurative abstractions and fictional portraits that explore the concept of Home as a space where stories are told, identity is shaped and where we learn to become ourselves. She is interested in the ways Home can be a place of belonging (or not) and the way narratives link us through unstable realities to our definitions of self.
