Biography

Hei Di Li (b.1997, China) is a contemporary visual artist whose works often present themes surrounding desire and limitation, implying the potential dangers of freedom and love. Her works mirror the undercurrents of society, interpersonal relations and beyond. Hei Di's colours are heavily influenced by her upbringing in northeastern China, painting from her imagination, temped to create cinematic atmospheres through painting. Hei Di lives and works in London, UK.
