Harry Rüdham (b.1996, UK) is a British artist whose practice is informed by a multitude of self-made and found sources. Thematically, Rüdham’s paintings form a stylised observation of contemporary life, beginning not as a rejection of city life but an interpretation of city ‘rest’, whether this be in a park, biergarten or lake. Most evident in his work is an admiration of paper and oil pastels, each presenting their own unique immediacy as a medium. By ripping and reassembling paper he transforms photographs, often of daily life, into overlaying planes of colour. Harry lives and works in London, UK.
