Francis Osborne (b.1998, UK) is a contemporary British artist whose works are a constant investigation of abstract imagery. Francis is interested in where imagery comes from, the colour theories one can apply and the relationship they hold with form, shape and mark. What makes an image? How does it work or not work and how do we react when it reaches our nervous system? Francis embraces the idea of an ‘accident’ within his works and does not attempt to illustrate preconceived notions. Francis lives and works in Surrey, England.
