Biography

Eva Junga (b. 1989, Latvia) is a Latvian artist whose practice constitutes a self-styled form of visual poetry. Layered surfaces and repeated forms are all characteristic components within her practice, drawing from delineations in space that are derived from the language of distracted doodling. The materials and techniques that form Eva’s works resonate with a lyrical ambiguity that replicates the often perplexing experience of everyday contemporary spaces. This uncertainty can be both elementary and complex, a polarity that the works embrace and promote. Eva lives and works in London, UK.
