Biography

Eleanor Wang (b.1994, London) is an artist who works predominantly with painting alongside a more collaborative practice involving performance. Eleanor explores content generated from everyday behaviours and routine. Through the repetition and categorisation of her imagery, she creates situations for multiple overlaps. Eleanor considers the 'performativity' of her work and encourages a suggestion of movement in them. Having received training as a classical instrumentalist, she is interested in how performances compare a mentality of the performer as artist and performer as musician. Eleanor lives and works in London, UK with strong influences from her Chinese heritage. To request additional works please contact specialist@aucart.com
