Biography

Christopher Rizkallah (b.1993, Lebanon) is a Lebanese artist based in the UK. His work is initiated by objects found in everyday life, modified, and converted to multiple forms. Jumping between digital and analogue media, he explores man’s complex relationship with the machine, now vital to everyday life. He instigates the destruction of data through digital and physical tampering, giving clarity to incomplete images. As part of a generation of artists born after 1990, a year that saw the universal availability of the Internet, the nature of Rizkallah’s work echoes the digital age.
