Biography

Anna Pietrzak (b.1987, USA) is an American artist with a background in architecture. Her works explore themes between art and architecture, with focus on weight and tension. She is attracted to and gravitates towards materials that are packed with latent, embedded energy. Anna works primarily with gold leaf and pigments to explore underlying meanings in human gestures and the emotional potency of colour. Anna lives and works in New York, USA.
