Biography

Amy Worrall (b. 1989, UK) is a sculptor and ceramicist who produces a range of functional and decorative objects skewed from her own vision of reality playfully approaching the female gaze and ideas of pop culture, music, and coming-of-age. Drawing from her background in illustration, Amy creates ceramics inspired by topless girls in Florida and sunburnt Brits abroad on the Costa del Sol. Focusing on simple dining wear and vessels to display flora and fauna, Amy uses the majolica technique to achieve vivid, neon colour reflecting zany characters with their humorous demeanour. Amy currently lives and works in Stockholm, Sweden.
