Biography

Alice Thompson (b.1996, UK) is a British artist working primarily with knit, photography, drawing and found objects. Working with the medium of knit, she tests its durability. Fragile and mundane motifs are described through the fabrics. Being inspired by the temporality of objects and fleeting moments, particularly those in the transitional periods of our lifetime, her work references stages such as babyhood and maternity. Alice lives and works in London, UK.
